"Have you filled a bucket today?"
PBIS at Nicollet High School PBIS (School Wide-Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports) is a program that Nicollet is using to reinforce a positive atmosphere throughout our school and community. Raider Pride has four positive behavior expectations. They are: Be RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL, POSITIVE, and SAFE.
So why the question, “Have you filled a bucket today?”
Each of us has an invisible bucket. When our bucket is full, we feel great. When it’s empty, we feel awful. Yet most people don’t realize the importance of having a full bucket throughout the day. Every interaction either fills or empties our bucket. It also means that those same interactions either fill or empty someone else’s bucket too. When we realize that everything we say or do to other people fills or empties their buckets, we can work together to build and maintain a “full bucket” atmosphere in our building!
Raider Pride Tickets
Nicollet High School teachers and staff will be issuing Raider Pride tickets to high school students who are responsible, respectful, positive, and safe. By doing so helps fill buckets of their classmates and school staff. Students can purchase various items from the Raider Pride student store with their tickets.
