This morning, Nicollet staff, students and families participated in National Walk to School Day. We had great participation from students, staff and parents. Crossing support was provided by our 6th grade crossing guards and members of the Nicollet County Sheriff's Department. This event promoted healthy living and is a great way to build our school community. Thank you to all who participated. Thank you Ruth for the great photos!

On Friday April 25 Nicollet will conduct a Mock Crash simulation in the afternoon. During the event there will be the possibility of many emergency vehicles including a helicopter coming to campus. This is a planned event which has been coordinated with local agencies including the Sheriff's Office. Even though this is a simulation, we understand it can be traumatic and impact students differently. Only students in grades 9-12 will be attending and students are welcome to attend a study hall instead during this time. Nicollet last participated in the event three years ago.
