Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation has named Patric Pehrson of Nicollet Public Schools the FFA Advisor of the Year!

Thursday after school the conservation crew stopped at Jace's grandmothers house to rake leaves. Afterwards the group received a guided walking tour through the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) farmland behind the house and learned how these areas are used as buffer zones to protect environmentally sensitive areas, filter groundwater and reduce runoff.




Grade 10 students had a great time today at the "Construct Tomorrow" event at the Mankato Civic Center. Students learned about a variety of trades and participated in a range of engaging activities!
Afterwards, on the way out one of the organizers asked about our group and said we had "a great group of kids" who were engaged and fun to talk to. Great Job Nicollet Raiders!










Our middle school students of the quarter were recognized on Wednesday during our advisory period. These students exemplify the values of Raider Pride and we are so proud of their contributions to our school community.

Honor Band 2025!


Today Dr. Dan Ninham visited Nicollet Public Schools. During his visit he share the teachings of Native American Words and wisdom through stories and games. Students in grades K-12 and staff had a great experience - Dr. Ninham was great!










We are proud to recognize these outstanding students for their hard work and positive attitude. Each of these students has demonstrated Raider Pride and exemplifies the values of our Choose to Be Nice program through their kindness, respect, and responsibility.

Today was a festive day as students dressed up for Halloween!
During lunch Superintendent Courrier passed out treats to all the students in the commons!



This afternoon the conservation club was out on the town enjoying the fall weather by raking leaves, mowing, edging and clearing brush.









During "Earth Science" week and "No Child Left Inside". Students took a walking tour around Nicollet to learn about water management infrastructure and factors affecting natural bodies of water and groundwater. We also learned about the history of Nicollet and reflected on how technology has changed the lifestyles of our community over the years.
The Nicollet Sheriff's Department was on site today connecting with Grade 10 students. The "Teen Impact Driver" program engaged students in discussions around the impact of distracted driving.






The Nicollet Fire Department was on site today teaching our elementary students about fire safety. Students learned about fire safety and the equipment used to help fight fires. Thank you to the local fire department for providing this hands-on learning experience for our students.





Nicollet kicked off our homecoming activities on Friday starting with a pepfest and coronation. This week is loaded with activities with each day having a special dress up theme. From Monday's Jersey Day to Friday's Raider Pride Day - this week will be a great opportunity for Students, Staff, Alumni and the community to celebrate our hometown School Spirit.
